Shipping & Returns

1. Will-call pickup (free)
Most customers pick up at the yard. We load your trailer or truck with the forklift at no charge. You're responsible for making sure your vehicle and tie-downs are rated for the load — a thousand board feet of oak is heavier than it looks.
2. Local delivery
We deliver within roughly 60 miles of Waco (Waco, Temple, Killeen, Hillsboro, Gatesville and points between) on our flatbed, "Bertha." Local delivery starts at $75 and is quoted per trip based on distance and load size. Deliveries are scheduled within 2–5 business days; we'll call before we come.
3. Freight (statewide & beyond)
Larger or farther orders ship by licensed common carrier. Freight is quoted at cost, banded and crated where needed. Risk of loss passes to the buyer on carrier pickup; please note any damage on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves.
4. Returns
- Stock lumber: unused, uncut boards in the condition sold may be returned within 14 days with your receipt, subject to a 15% restocking fee. You arrange return transport.
- Custom work: custom-milled, resawn, surfaced-to-order, and special-order material is final sale — we can't resell a board cut to your drawing.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 business days of inspection at the yard.
5. Claims (shortage, grade, moisture)
Inspect your lumber before cutting or machining. Claims for shortage, grade, or moisture must be reported within 5 days of pickup/delivery and before the boards are cut, planed, or finished. We'll re-measure or re-meter with you and make it right — replacement, credit, or refund of the affected boards. Once boards are cut, we can no longer verify a claim.
6. Storage reminder
Kiln-dried lumber stays happy indoors, stacked flat with stickers, off the concrete. We're glad to advise on storage; damage from improper storage after sale isn't covered.
